Clare and Johnie have been the most amazing and helpful hosts. The apartment in the roof top had definitely tree views as the name of the apartment suggests and was a cosy place to come back to after my walks. Located close to the Southwest Coast Path I feel so lucky that I came across this holiday let. It is a bit of a maze of country lanes to gRead moreet there but once you are there it is the best place to be. Clare also recommends how to get there best. Best to follow her instructions. So much to explore and a wonderful place to return to in the future. Hide

This is a lovely apartment - well worth the climb up the stairs as the views are so pretty and calming. The area is very tranquil although the narrow roads in some parts may be a little unnerving for some. The directions we were sent meant we avoided the worst and we had no problem as there were regular passing places to get to Ferndale.

Great property in peaceful location. The driveway is very steep and potentially a problem for some vehicles but no issues for our Toyota.

A lovely cottage in a stunning location. The owners were welcoming from the beginning, and it was an ideal spot for relaxation. Theres a peaceful beach about a 35-minute walk down the road. The accommodation was cozy, making it the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. The only caution Id give is about the narrow roads, which might take Read morea little getting used to for some city dwellers, but for us, it added to the tranquility and quietness of the area. Hide

Our hosts are very kind and warm-hearted people who (like others) are selflessly keeping Rual England afloat. They are doing a fantastic job. To my pleasant surprise they even have fully functioning broadband. The house is clean and tidy and the amenities work excellently. Really lovely - you do need to be prepped for the remoteness and size of the roads locally - we visit Devon quite a bit and the roads here are very narrow. For us it added to the feeling of peace and quiet.
