Enjoy a slice of rural heaven at this cosy romantic retreat nestled among the rolling Radnorshire countryside in Mid Wales, with beautiful views, lots of pretty walks and fishing nearby, and a hot tub to relax in afterwards. Your pups will love it too, with a large, fenced garden they can have a ball in, and 10 acres of private land you’re welcome to explore together.
Head up three wooden steps to the decked area and front door then drop the leads in the boot room. The open-plan living area, with a sofa to lounge on in front of the TV, is connected to the contemporary kitchen and has a cool breakfast bar with bar stools. There’s a pretty double bedroom with plenty of clothes storage and a TV, and a contemporary shower room. Outside, you can have a good soak in the luxurious hot tub on the decking. Let the pups run about on the large, fenced lawn while you enjoy dinner alfresco or do a spot of stargazing from the decking.
Take your canine companions with you to wander through the shared grounds the lodge sits in. As well as walking and wildlife spotting, you can have a go at coarse fishing on site too. The tiny village of Llandegley is 0.5 miles away and Penybont is 1.5 miles away where you’ll find a shop and a pub. Take your pick of stunning scenery to discover with a whole host of hikes in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (15 miles), the Brecon Beacons National Park (23 miles) and the pretty reservoirs and dams of the Elan Valley (14.5 miles). On a rainy day, the National Cycle Museum at Llandrindod Wells (7 miles) is within easy reach and makes a fun day out.
