Escape to the Jurassic Coast in this contemporary home just outside West Bay. The property welcomes four guests and two waggy-tailed pals, and makes the perfect base for families and couples seeking a traditional seaside getaway. As well as the many paw-friendly beaches along this stretch of coastline, you’ll also be just 3 miles from the dog walkers’ paradise of Symondsbury Estate.
The light and airy redbrick cottage is decorated in calming tones and features elegant wooden floors, plush soft furnishings, and beautiful artwork adorning the walls. After a day at the beach, unwind in the welcoming lounge to read a book or watch the Smart TV. This room opens onto a bright kitchen/diner where you can rustle up hearty feasts for the group and dine together at the wooden dining table. In summer, throw open the patio doors to the garden, to let Rover and Fido come and go as they please. Upstairs, you’ll find two tastefully decorated bedrooms along with the family bathroom. Outside, bask in the Dorset sunshine in the enclosed patio garden, which is furnished for al fresco dining. The garden is fully enclosed for your furry chums and the property has private parking for two cars.
Enjoy an evening dog walk around West Bay’s picturesque harbour, perhaps stopping at one of the many waterside cafes or restaurants for a sundowner. West Bay’s iconic beach, backed by towering cliffs, has a section that welcomes woofers all year, or you can join the coastal path to visit neighbouring paw-friendly beaches at Eype or Burton Bradstock. The vibrant town of Bridport is just 1.5 miles away, where you’ll find numerous independent shops, eateries, and open-air markets to potter around.
