Great stay - during heatwave - cottage was cool throughout! Well equipped for a comfortable visit in a beautiful location for walks etc. Fully enclosed garden for our small dog - treats for her and for humans too - very much appreciated- thank you.

We stayed here during a heatwave and were so glad of it! The thick stone walls partially underground meant we kept cool throughout and it was comfortable enough to stay in and read/ relax eat and drink for the first couple of days when temperatures were in the 30s. The property is rustic, full of character, well equipped and comfortable with a sepeRead morerate garden area front and back so very dog friendly. On arrival there were dog bowls treats and towel and milk and biscuits for us. The location was great. Short walk to a lovely deli style shop/ cafe and a pub serving food. Another restaurant even closer although dogs not allowed in this one. The owners of the accomodation were suitably visible while not being intrusive at all. The main house has a gallery with really interesting art and a cafe. Parking is on the property but also the road outside. It was just a short journey to Monmouth, symmonds Yat and Ross on Wye with lovely walks and scenery. Would definitely go back. Hide

Excellent hosts, very friendly. It was lovely to receive a welcome pack for us and the dog. The cottage was very comfortable and cozy and a good base for exploring the area. Thank you for the delicious Lemon Dizzle cake.
