Road to cottage is awful with potholes most of the way up. The owner has taken this up with the local Council but so far without success. This detracted from our overall enjoyment of the holiday.

Lovely place, perfectly situated for walking, llangollen and castle visits. Comfy bed, great woodburner. Only negative was that we weren't left kindling to light the fire. Would recommend

Lovely cottage in beautiful rural location. Exceptionally clean. Well equipped and comfy. Lovely cottage to spend a week in a very attractive rural location. There was lots to in the local area, which meant we were not doing long drives to reach places. Apart from the daily need to navigate the potholed minor road approach, we thoroughly enjoyed our break in Wales.

The cottage was very comfortable with lovely views and the seating outside was private for relaxing in the evenings. We enjoyed the log burner and appreciated having equipment to prepare an evening meal on the days when we didn't eat out. The quietness was a welcome contrast which meant we felt rested and refreshed at the end of our stay!

If you like great views & walking this place is perfect. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and perfectly located to either explore the local area or just stay in and relax. The Ceiriog Valley is well worth a visit and Nodyn Y Nant gave two adults and a spaniel the best holiday home to spend the week in.
