With private access to the River Dee and its own luxurious hot tub, this picture-perfect cottage is bursting with original features and rustic charm. With one or two canine companions welcome to join you, no member of your pack will miss out on a family getaway to glorious North Wales.

Embark on a journey of relaxation as you enter the open sunroom with ample space to stow away your outdoor gear. Sink into one of the plush seats and soak up the breathtaking view of the river below. A handy shower room for muddy paws can be found here too. Make your way to the heart of the home - the bespoke kitchen outfitted with everything you need to whip up a feast using the freshest local ingredients. Then, gather round the dining room's table - and indulge in a delicious family meal. Later, retire to the cosy lounge, where you'll find plush sofas, a Smart TV, and a warming wood burner that’s sure to be popular with the pups. When bedtime rolls around, choose from one of four beautifully designed first-floor bedrooms, each offering a restful night's sleep and a breathtaking view to wake up to. There's the king-size bed with a charming feature fireplace, a twin room, a double room with a feature fireplace, and a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single on top that children will adore. Additionally, there’s a spacious bathroom with a shower over a freestanding bath for a luxurious soak at the end of the day. Step outside and savour your morning coffee on the sunroom deck, and then make your way down to the paved patio area, complete with a table, chairs, and BBQ. For a touch of luxury, look forward to the wood-burning hot tub (available for use starting Easter 2023), where you can lounge in comfort as the river flows beneath you.

Located 2 miles from the village of Llangollen, beautiful riverside walks to get tails wagging begin from your doorstep. Alternatively, take a leisurely stroll along the Llangollen Canal. This scenic waterway offers miles of flat, easy-going towpaths, perfect for rambling with your furry friend. Another popular dog-friendly activity in the area is a hike in the surrounding hills. With its rugged landscapes and stunning vistas, the Berwyn Mountains provide the perfect backdrop for a challenging expedition with your faithful friend. The hills are also home to several ancient ruins and historic landmarks, making them an excellent destination for history buffs and their canine companions. If you're looking for something a little more relaxed, Llangollen is also home to a number of dog-friendly pubs and cafes. Enjoy a bite to eat or a drink with your four-pawed pal while soaking up the ambience of this charming village. It was a lovely cottage to spend time in. The view was great and we really enjoyed standing on the terrace looking at the river etc. All was comfortable with lovely comfy bed and nice and warm as required.

This cottage is perfect if you want the quiet country life. The constant sound of the water, the stunning views views which can all be enjoyed from the hot tub or the outdoors dinning space. Inside is beautifully kept and very clean. Cannot wait to stay here again

Had the most amazing few days stay at the cottage. Place had everything you need. Clean and tidy. Great location and the views are incredible. Lovely time spent in the hot tub. Helen was very nice and made your feel very welcome. Definitely would stay again

This is a superbly appointed quaint old cottage with wonderful views from a lovely patio. Lots of original features adds interest to anyones stay. We didnt use the hot-tub but if you like that kind of thing, it looked very nice indeed. Kitchen was well equipped and WIFI is strong. Beds were comfortable and we had no issues with any of the equipmentRead more in the house. Very quiet road so little traffic noise and I would recommend this cottage for a peaceful time. Hide

Cottage is amazing and host think of all essentials ready to make your stay amazing. It was lovely to have family time and spend time with grandchildren. Views are amazing and hot tub ready for when we arrived. Definitely a great place to stay, you will not be disappointed
