Escape to the country with your favourite humans and hound in this stunning detached property in Mid Wales. Sleeping seven guests and one pup, it’s great for get-togethers with family and friends. There are some beautiful woodland and canal-side dog walks to enjoy nearby, as well as paw-friendly attractions including the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (3 miles) and the Montgomery Canal (10 miles).

The farmhouse is set on a working farm and bursting with period charm. The house is warm and inviting thanks to the underfloor heating, which provides dozing spots for the pup. The sociable kitchen/diner is a great space for entertaining, with seating for everyone and a comfortable sofa where you can sip a glass of wine as you wait for dinner. After dinner, relax in the lounge, with its sumptuous sofas, Smart TV, and rug for the hound to stretch out on. Completing the ground floor is a utility room for all the dog’s paraphernalia. Upstairs, you’ll find four elegant bedrooms, along with an en-suite shower room and family bathroom. The enclosed garden has a large lawn where children and four-legged guests can play, as well as a patio area for al fresco dining.

The holiday home sits on the edge of Llanfair Caereinon. The town has a lovely arboretum where you and your canine companion can take a long walk, followed by refreshments in one of the cosy pubs. From the town, hop on the pet-welcoming Welshpool and Llanfair heritage steam trains, to explore the rolling landscape of the Banwy Valley. The steam trains take you to Welshpool, where you’ll find gorgeous walks along the Montgomery Canal and the stunning Italian gardens of Powis Castle which, out of season, you and your canine sidekick are welcome to wander around.

Lovely, comfortable, remote cottage. Perfect for families as the kids can let off steam in the large garden and not disturb anyone! Enough kitchen equipment to cook, comfy beds and large property/garden.
