Golden sands, dramatic cliffs and rugged rocky coves – such delights abound in the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in Wales. Stay at this gorgeous cottage with your partner and pet and you’ll be able to explore all these delights as a happy trio. Spend your days spotting seals, snacking on Welshcakes and sniffing out historic castles, followed by romantic evenings in curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine. The house sleeps two humans and one canine and is part of a complex of four dog-friendly properties that your friends and family can rent out too.

This property has lots of traditional charm, thanks to exposed stone walls and a gorgeous wooden beamed ceiling. Outside you’ll find a patio that leads to a lawn shared with the other properties in the complex – great for the children or dogs to play in all together. On warm evenings, sizzle up a feast on the BBQ, perhaps cooking up some local sausages picked up from one of the market towns nearby. Muddy trousers can be cleaned and dried in the shared laundry room.

You’ll be in a rural spot 3 miles from Narbeth, a small town with shops, a railway station and dog-friendly pubs. For a long walk through stunning countryside, pack up Sadie’s chewed-up old tennis ball and head to Canaston Bridge (6 miles). Here you can walk through beautiful woods to join an ancient pilgrim’s route as well as the River Cleddau. If the sea air calls, Saundersfoot (10 miles) or Tenby (13 miles) are great options – these both have sandy beaches allowing dogs. For a historical day out, visit Pembroke (16 miles) and spend a few hours at the castle (16.5 miles), where well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome anywhere except the shop and the café.

  • 1 double bedroom - Low beams and spiral stairs leading to bedroom
  • 1 en-suite bathroom with shower and WC
  • Electric oven and hob, microwave and undercounter fridge with small freezer compartment
  • Parking for 2 cars
  • Shops and pubs 3 miles, beach 5 miles
  • Smart TV in the lounge and bedroom
  • Shared Hot tub, booking time slots will be directly with the owner
  • Not suitable for young children due to open plan and spiral stairs
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 17:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00
  • 2 dogs allowed. Additional charges may apply

Lovely and clean cottages on a wonderful farm. Hosts were lovely and accomodating - due to Storm Darragh knocking out the power and heating in the first cottage, we were moved to a second cottage with a wood burner which we very much appreciated during the cold night. We will certainly be back.
