Aptly named, this is a deceptively spacious, warm and welcoming property with lots of cosy, quirky and colourful rooms. A smart, charming kitchen with a Welsh slate floor, beamed ceilings and doors that open into a fabulously airy conservatory, meaning there is plenty of space for dogs and children alike, both indoors and out. Outdoors is a gravelled courtyard, and an exceptionally pretty lawned area surrounded by trees and well-stocked borders. The hot tub is perfect for lazing in the sunshine while your canine companions play on the grass, safely contained in this enclosed garden.

We found The Tardis to be a perfect cozy retreat and base for exploring the North Wales area; visiting castles and some mountain biking in our case. Alison and Nigel were really welcoming and helpful, quickly explaining how everything works when we arrived and offering use of a locked outbuilding to store our bikes. The village of Eglwysbach is easRead morey to get to from the A55 dual carriageway and theres a dedicated parking spot at The Tardis. The friendly Bee Inn pub in the village is only 50 yards away and open Wednesday-Sunday, serving good pub grub from a short menu that varies each day (check their website for more details). The hot tub at The Tardis was a nice extra to relax in after a day out. In all we had a really enjoyable stay at The Tardis and would thoroughly recommend it to others. Hide
