Breathtaking Ceredigion is famous for its rugged coastline, popular market towns and mile upon mile of exciting trails past astonishingly beautiful waterfalls and mountain lakes. This cosy bolthole is the perfect base for exploring, with enough comfortable sleeping space for three guests along with two beloved hounds. There’s even a hot tub for relaxing evenings soaking under the stars, ideal after a day of adventures.

The interior of this delightful single-level property is spacious and homely, equipped with all the essentials and decorated in soothing neutral tones. Consisting of a country cottage-style kitchen, a charming lounge/diner and two pretty bedrooms, you’ll have everything you need for a restful stay. The family bathroom has a handy shower over the bath and the main rooms are tiled, so there’s no need to worry about muddy paws. Outside, the safely enclosed garden will prove irresistible to energetic hounds and terriers alike, featuring a fantastic hot tub, BBQ and garden furniture. The property is one of five located within the grounds of a working farm, so there’s plenty to explore from the comfort of your own doorstep. Younger guests will particularly appreciate the play equipment, but there are lots of interesting smells to keep Fido occupied too.

Further afield, the ancient market town of Aberystwyth is within a 6-mile drive and is a honeypot for entertainment. Stroll along the Victorian Promenade, or take the cliff railway to the fascinating Camera Obscura. The beach welcomes canine visitors between October and Easter, but Llanrhystud Beach 13 miles away and Wallog Beach 9.5 miles away have no seasonal restrictions. For adventurous types, the Cambrian Mountains are well worth a hike, especially the stunning Devil’s Bridge Falls, which can be accessed 9 miles away.

Ideal location and cottage for a peaceful, accessible, dog friendly break. With short distance of Devil's Bridge, the spectacular Elan Valley, the town of Aberystwyth and the coastal path, so plenty to explore.

The location was fantastic, the amenities were brilliant and really catered for our needs. There was plenty of room for us all and it was a really cosy place. Our dogs got the full benefit of the surrounding by fields and walks nearby,. Gareth was an excellent host giving tips on places to visit. Well worth the visit.

A fantastic first holiday for my non verbal autistic son. He loved his time in the cottage, and took full advantage of the outside play area from the back of the cottages. Dogs also enjoyed their time walking and running in the fields.
