Get away to this pretty, terraced cottage situated in a quiet spot in the popular harbour town of Padstow. Spend days on the river or find a new leash of life on the many walking and cycling trails nearby, before relaxing with an evening at this charming holiday home sleeping four guests and two waggy-tailed friends.
This quaint cottage is bright and airy throughout, decorated and furnished with nods to its harbour-side location. The practical kitchen has everything you need to create culinary delights for breakfast, lunches and dinners before you get comfortable in the lounge as the dogs snooze by your feet. Upstairs are the two well-appointed bedrooms and a bathroom, and a handy cloakroom WC is located on the ground floor too. Outside to the rear of the property, there’s a lovely paved garden which has furniture and is fully enclosed, so the dogs will be safe while you enjoy an al fresco evening tipple.
Padstow is a fantastic town ideal for foodies with its range of restaurants including four belonging to the famous chef, Rick Stein. Escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy secluded beaches situated along the Camel Estuary. Hawker’s and Harbour Cove are 3 miles away by car but can also be accessed via the coast path, and both welcome dogs all year round. Get active by paddleboarding, sailing, wakeboarding or waterskiing along the river. Alternatively, keep your paws dry and have a ball along the South West Coast Path, or the fabulous Camel Trail, an 18-mile route that passes through superb scenery.
