Cottage was well presented, spotless and lots of thoughtful touches on our arrival. Id encourage a thorough reading of the must know information on the website - the communal alley behind the row of cottages made it more difficult with dogs accessing the garden. The house is narrow and the garden is overlooked but despite the initial disappointmentRead more we really grew to enjoy our time in this cosy comfy cottage. Fine for a couple and dogs but may be a bit of a squash for a family. No parking was manageable as parking in the village a few minutes walk away. Stunning views from the back garden and bathroom! Peaceful village, and easy access to stunning walks. Hide

We had a wonderful stay at Sarn cottage it felt like a home from home. The thoughtful welcome touches of milk, bread and Welsh cakes on arrival were much appreciated. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Communication from the owner was excellent throughout. We received a really comprehensive email the day before arRead morerival with all the information we needed, and there was also an incredibly thorough welcome pack at the cottage covering everything from local information to recommended walks. We also appreciated the personalised follow-up email afterwards, which felt genuinely thoughtful rather than just a generic message. The garden was fantastic, with beautiful views and a secure area for the dogs, although it is worth noting for fellow dog owners that the garden is accessed across a small shared path. With our three dogs this made late-night toilet trips a little trickier, but it certainly wouldnt put us off staying again. The village itself was lovely and very friendly everyone we met was welcoming. The location was also ideal: peaceful but still only a few miles from the A5, making it easy to reach Betws-y-Coed and other nearby places to explore. The only other small drawback was the lack of on-site parking, meaning we parked around a 5-minute walk away. However, we were able to get a space every day we were there, so it wasnt a major issue. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to book again. A warm, comfortable cottage in a great location with thoughtful hosts and stunning views. Hide

Such a beautiful cottage. In a fantastic location. The Cottage is equipped with everything you need. The location for me was perfect, all my walks (which was why I came) were within a 30 min drive. And the scenery is just breathtaking. The information folders provided at Sarn Cottage which included several walks that I did, I found invaluable.
