With comfortable, cosy spaces inside warmed by a wood burner and wide open garden spaces for your canine to run free, this fantastic family-friendly farmhouse is sure to set tails wagging. Just 5 miles away is the coast, where in Conwy you can unearth local history at the castle and World Heritage Site on a fascinating walk. Back at your cottage, humans will love returning to the private hot tub at the end of a day of adventure to sit and soak up the beautiful views of the Conwy Valley.

The living room is bursting with character with exposed beams across the ceiling, a traditional fireplace housing a wonderful wood burner and two delightful sofas for you to relax on. Next door, the cosiness continues in the kitchen/diner with warm wooden finishes and thoughtful decor. Here you can cook up a feast for all the family in the fully equipped kitchen and serve it up on the six-seater dining table whilst you share stories and make memories with one another. Upstairs, you’ll find three tastefully decorated bedrooms and the family bathroom. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room for added luxury, whilst the other two bedrooms include a king-size bed and twin beds as well as a TV for entertainment.

For seaside walkies, head to Colwyn Bay (10 miles) to join a stretch of the coastal path towards Llandudno and you’ll be in awe at the rugged scenery and panoramic viewpoints. Parts of Colwyn Bay Beach remain dog friendly all year round, so this is a great place for sandy paws to explore whilst in the area too. For a challenging hike, why not head to the heights of Snowdon (24 miles)? You’ll be rewarded with mighty views from the summit, as well as the memory of the wonderful experience shared with your family on four legs as well as two.

Exceptional location. Remote enough to offer privacy, tranquility and some wonderful stargazing, yet still very convenient for the beaches and sights of Conwy and Llandudno, as well as putting two Zip World sites in easy reach. Fabulous perfect area to have a quiet stay. Cottage has everything you need. We had a hi-lux twin cab, so had a few shunts to get into road turns, but made it. That is wales for you. Lots of parking.
