A romantic, idyllic retreat located within magnificent Welsh countryside. Invite your loved one and furry friend to this unique property to enjoy a romantic break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Kick off your walking boots, hang up your dog leads and make your way into the cottage, where you'll find charming, olde-worlde features, such as the exposed beams, feature walls, double-height ceilings and intricate artefacts scattered throughout. Settle your pup beside you as you sink into the comfy sofa and pop on the electric log effect fire to warm chilly toes and frosty paws. The kitchen/diner is a joy to cook in, with plenty of light flowing through and all the equipment needed to serve up dinners to remember. Spend time with your special guests in the one-acre, landscaped garden, where the incredible views provide a romantic backdrop to dining. While away the hours here with glasses of wine and great conversation with your beloved, or head into your gipsy caravan to enjoy the sun creeping below the horizon. When you're ready for bed, say goodnight to your furry pal and recline in the stunning double four-poster bed.

If you can tear yourself away from this romantic bolthole, the nearby town of Corwen boasts a fascinating history and unique location at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains. Visit this gateway with your pooch in tow to enjoy walking around and up these mountains, or for a route a little flatter, trek along the canal for stunning views and many stick-chasing opportunities. Fill hungry tummies with fabulous foods at one of the many pubs, eateries and shops in Corwen. Go sightseeing with your pup at the National Trust's Chirk Castle (20.5 miles) or explore Wales' highest waterfall Pistyll Rhaeadr (29 miles).
