This welcoming two-storey cottage is ideal for couples, friends or families seeking a restful rural getaway and the chance to explore the Yorkshire Dales. There are plenty of local amenities to find in the charming market town of Hawes, just 1.5 miles away. Hawes is famous for the Wensleydale Creamery, a must-visit for cheese lovers and Wallace and Gromit fans alike. Walkers will love having paths to explore from the doorstep, set within the stunning landscapes of the national park. Visit the magnificent Hardraw Force, England’s largest single-drop waterfall or tackle a section of the challenging Pennine Way (both less than 0.5 miles away). Cyclists can ride up to Buttertubs Pass from right outside the back door. This popular pass is known for its far-reaching views of the fells. Alternatively, head to the Forbidden Corner and explore the walled garden, or visit historic Bolton Castle, both within 20 miles.

Step inside this inviting property, which exudes traditional Yorkshire charm, with old stone-built walls and glorious countryside views. As you enter through the front door, the cosy lounge area is on your right. With soft accents and plenty of comfortable seating, you can settle in with a book or snuggle up on the sofa, light the wood burner for extra warmth in the cooler months, and enjoy reading, chatting, or watching a favourite film on the Smart TV. There is plenty of natural light, making this a lovely space in which to unwind after a day exploring the Yorkshire Dales. The home-from-home feel continues as you head through into the lovely kitchen/diner. Here, you’ll find all the appliances you need to cook up a storm during your stay. Enjoy unhurried meals at the dining table and plan your next day of adventure. The washing up certainly won’t feel like a chore, as you can happily be distracted by the glorious rural views from the window above the sink. Head upstairs and you can drift off to sleep and wake up to the sights and sounds of the charming countryside in either a cosy double or twin bedroom. Both bedrooms boast ample storage and are served by a chic family shower room with a walk-in shower and WC.

Wander outside the front of the house, and you’ll discover a paved patio thoughtfully furnished with a bistro set to create a quiet spot to enjoy sipping a morning coffee. Directly facing the front of the house is a relaxing, enclosed garden space with a BBQ and a lawned garden for children and dogs to play. There is private parking for two cars.
