  • Colourful Aberdyfi holiday home set on the seafront opposite the beach
  • Stunning views out across the Dyfi Estuary and beautiful Cardigan Bay
  • Ideal location for coastal walks and family days out in Snowdonia
Property code: OC-DY053

Discover a warm and inviting coastal haven for families and a couple of canine companions, perfectly situated for seaside walks along Aberdyfi beach and exploring the scenic wonders of Cardigan Bay. Enjoy light, airy, open-plan living and ocean views from this welcoming seaside home.

From the hall, enter the lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can gaze toward the beach or unwind in front of your favourite shows on the TV with Rover at your feet. Head over to the well-equipped kitchen area to prepare delicious meals and set the table for memorable holiday meals. A convenient cloakroom completes the ground floor. Upstairs, a charming double bedroom with a TV and sea views awaits, accompanied by a shower room. On the floor above, discover another shower room, a twin room, and an additional double room offering captivating views of the beach and sea. Outside, there’s a small yard, perfect for storing bikes, surfboards, and outdoor equipment.

Grab your beach essentials and cross the road to access the expansive sandy beach. The section of beach directly in front of the town has dog restrictions from April to the end of September, but the rest of the beach is open for frolics with Fido year-round. Dive into the refreshing waters for a swim, test your surfing skills, or even rent a boat to venture out and discover the estuary and bay. For walkies to remember, the Wales Coast Path beckons, offering a delightful 4-mile route to Tywyn or a more challenging 12-mile hike to Llwyngwril. Our 4th stay. Great location and very comfortable. Whole place needs a thorough clean when not booked. No hoover for guests. Tired kitchen and various items need replacing. Have reported various other issues to the owner. Would like to see a 2nd car pass as its now 108 for a week. We would book again if everything can be resolved.

Unfortunately this isn't as it seems in the photos, the only rooms that are good & clean are the main bedroom & bathroom. The other rooms play host to broken plaster, dirty & broken blinds, wallpaper coming off, broken mattresses, dirty kitchen, furniture, equipment etc. Not good even for a dog friendly place to stay. We paid over 900 for 5 days & Read moreit's not worth it. On the plus side, the location is good for the beach or day trips and the locals are friendly. Hide

Fantastic location and lovely spacious house. Bathrooms fab. Main bedroom lovely. We spent many an evening sitting watching the sea from there. Lovely local shops within easy reach and railway station not far for days out. Lovely holiday.

We loved the house with it's lovely views and really enjoyed being in such close proximity to the beach. We had a baby and 4 year old with us so it was great to be able to pop back from the beach if we needed to .The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well .We were sad to leave .
