Nestled along the edge of Snowdonia National Park and with outstanding outdoor adventures to be had (and fetched) within easy reach, this luxury coastal house is the perfect retreat for a family and furry companion. Set in the heart of Aberdovey where views across the mountains meets the – dog friendly – coast, here you can unleash plenty of family-filled escapades, whether on land or at sea. The property itself sits in an elevated position with panoramic sea views and makes the ideal base for a large family or group holiday…and with Fido welcome too, everyone can have a ball.

Walk in through the hall to a spectacular kitchen and dining area; open plan and with a stylish, sleek finish there’s a large modern table to gather around and floor-to-ceiling picture windows and doors that take you out onto the balcony where you can witness stunning views. The downstairs boot room and utility is a handy space to peel wet clothes from children and wash muddy paws! Retire to the bright, contemporary lounge for the evening where your canine companion can warm themselves on the rug in front of the wood burner or wrap up and step through the glass doors and onto the balcony to witness the sun going down across the Cardigan Bay. On the lower ground floor there are four stunning bedrooms, all offering sea views to wake up to. The super-king bedroom has access to the garden, as well as an ensuite and the king-size bedroom also has a shower room. For an extra touch of luxury there is underfloor heating in the family bathroom. Outside, have a ball in the lower garden, which is completely enclosed and the balcony and patio area present the most incredible seaside views; so whether you want to enjoy a sundowner or indulge in a little yoga on the balcony, you can downward dog in the most spectacular of surroundings. To the side of the house is a wash down area for bikes…and bow-wows and there is plenty of storage space to house paddleboards, canoes and to dry wetsuits.

Located in an area famed for its outdoor lifestyle, Aberdovey offers plenty of holiday pursuits, including walking, cycling, sea swimming, windsurfing and canoeing. And there’s also the well-known championships league Aberdovey Golf Course, as well as the beautiful dog-friendly beach! Set on the northern edge of the Dyfi Estuary and on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, Aberdovey is a thriving village with harbour, shops, cafes and galleries. Sitting just 15 miles away, visit the iconic Dolgoch Falls, where doggos are welcome if on a lead, or take Roman Road and the Picnic Island route for estuary and mountain vistas.

This house is a lovely and well positioned place to stay. Its well equipped for up to 8 people across 4 rooms and has all the amenities you will need for a stay. The location is great - its on a very steep hill so youll need to be relatively fit to walk up and down - alternatively you can drive up and down to the car park. Its very close to theRead more beach and to a local shop and only 10 minutes walk to restaurants. I wouldnt hesitate to book again - we had a fantastic time. Thank you. Hide

Ride the Wave, is a lovely property and we enjoyed our 5 days there. The view from the balcony is stunning and we were so lucky with the weather. The town is a short walk away and there are a number of good eateries. Would recommend the property and would definitely come back again.

A comfortable modern property, with wonderful views out to sea. It's also very conveniently located for access to all that Aberdyfi has to offer. Whilst being small, the garden is good and secure for our dog. This is the second time that we have stayed there this year; we would certainly return.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is amazing - close to the beach, shops and restaurants and beautiful views (this did mean there were some steep hills to walk up but it didn't take long). Ride the waves is in and amazing village with lots to do. It has an amazing view of the estuary and the sea. The house itself has a well stocked kitchen and the rest of the house is very well designed to make the most of the view. This is the second time we have visited and would love to come back again soon.

Beautiful house with everything you need. We knew the there was a hill from town to the house but be aware the hill is VERY steep, but the views from the house are worth the climb, amazing ! Aberdovey is a fantastic area and we will definitely be coming back.

Spacious property with fantastic sea views. For the benefit of those travelling with mobile under 4s, the main living space (kitchen/diner) opens directly onto the top of the stairs and theres no way to fit a standard stair-gate (we received false assurance on this). We were blessed with excellent weather and we very much enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. Also it was brilliant to be able to sleep with the blinds up in the bedroom and wake up to the fabulous views over the beach. Very nice, comfortable property, spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Amazing house and incredible location. The views are stunning! One thing to note is that a stair gate would be hugely beneficial to the property. We had a small baby with us but for older children too, it could be quite dangerous! Great communication from the owners, would 100% stay again. Thanks for having us x

Really great place to stay, had the wow factor with incredible views and a high spec finish. Great to have parking in a location so close to town. Railway station just down the hill also great for day trips. The property was very warm and clean too, a real haven to return to after some winter walks in beautiful Aberdyfi.
