The stunning timber-beamed open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is full of rustic charm and makes a fantastic space to relax in, with a stone fireplace, farmhouse-style dining table and country kitchen. The ground floor also has a handy shower room. The beautifully crafted open staircase leads up to the first-floor landing which makes a cheery snug, perfect for curling up with a good book. This floor has a family bathroom and two characterful bedrooms, each with wooden beams: a king-size room and a super-king-size room which has French doors opening onto a small balcony. Outside, the enclosed garden has a lawn with plenty of space for your four-legged friends to exercise. There’s also a separate patio with a BBQ, hot tub and outdoor furniture. Steps lead up to a spacious cabin with a foldaway bed and which makes a great children’s den.
The owners will be happy to take you on a tour of the farm to meet resident Highland cattle, Welsh mountain sheep, a peacock, alpaca and emu, with red kites overhead. There’s a friendly pub 2 miles away and the area is full of glorious walks for your pets to lead you along. The market town of Newton is 4.5 miles away, with some great places to eat and drink.
