This lovely and spacious former barn near Clovelly is beautifully converted for both couples and families, as well as your beloved adventure-loving canine chums. Mixing modern convenience with period charm, rest in this two-bed bolthole – sleeping four humans and two pet pooches – before exploring the abundant walks or answering the call of the nearby beach.

Inside, a spacious lounge with a beamed ceiling is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the local area. A door leads out to the pretty enclosed patio garden where dogs can sniff out new scents. The well-equipped kitchen and dining room is light and airy, on the same floor as a handily situated shower room. Upstairs, a king-size bedroom and twin bedroom offer a good night’s sleep for all after a day’s fun and frolics, with beautiful beamed ceilings running throughout. Outside, the enclosed garden has a decked area, garden furniture and a BBQ. Nearby, the owner has 8 acres of stunning grounds and a small lake for you and any spoilt furry friends to enjoy.

Be enamoured with the whitewashed cottages which line the cliff-side village of Clovelly and wind down the cobbled hilly street to the harbour. There you can enjoy pubs, shops and restaurants and catch a glimpse of the local fishermen with their haul. Within 5 miles, Hartland inspires with a range of craft and pottery shops, cafes and restaurants. Some of the most spectacular coastline views in the British Isles are found from Hartland Point and your four-legged adventurer will love exploring the South West Coast Path there. Under 12 miles away is the picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho!, known for its beautiful beach which has dog-friendly sections all year round. An emasculate cottage. Spacious and attractive inside. Extremely well equipped. Furnished comfortably with careful thought to the overall appearance. The weather was dreadful so we could not enjoy the outside space and the seating by the lake but had the sun shone it would have been a perfect place to relax.
