Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom, dog-friendly retreat is perfect for couples keen to explore both the town and the surrounding Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Return from your pup-tastic adventures to enjoy a glass of fizz on the patio and gaze out over the water with your contented canine at your feet.

Usher your furry-eared friend into the apartment, which has an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at its heart. Let him wander about a little and make himself feel at home as you unpack any of the tasty Welsh produce you have sourced in town. Give him the special fresh cuts you have bought for him then start preparing your own candle-lit dinner for two. Dine at the table inside or out on the patio with your pal also enjoying the fresh air. Spend cooler evenings inside, cuddled up on the sofa in front of the Smart TV, with your four-legged friend resting on the rug. When you are ready to retire too, have a hot shower in the shower room before heading through to the double bedroom, which looks out over the river. Take your happy hound for a walk along the river path, which can be accessed via a private gate, then return for coffee and breakfast on the patio.

Book a self-drive boat and take your furry friend on a trip along the river with you. He is also welcome to accompany you on a horse-drawn carriage ride from Llangollen Wharf. Discover an array of footpaths and trails to follow from the town. Enjoy a 1.5-mile stroll together up to the ruins of Castell Dinas Bran.

This cozy apartment on the banks of the River Dee is the ideal base to explore Llangollen & the surrounding area. Just a very short walk to local amenities & car parks. The parking permit that comes with the apartment can be used in all council owned car parks across Denbighshire so saved a fortune! We loved our holiday at The Nest. Short walk into town and enjoyed walks by the river. Loved sitting on the patio. Free Carpark ticket was a bonus. Kristin is a wonderful host and gave us lots of tips on where to visit.

Well situated flat right next to river and within close walking distance of town and supermarket. Basic level of accommodation and fittings - heating and macerator toilet are noisy. No interaction with owner. Very basic welcome pack, some of which out of date.

The Nest was very relaxing. Sitting outside on balcony with nice coffee in morning. So close to town and station over the road. Property definitely needs some tlc. But maybe if we go back next year you never know

The location of this flat is superb - right on the river with easy access to town and next to the riverside park. The flat itself is very compact but well thought-out, comfortable and it comes equipped with everything you need for a week's stay. The owners provide a parking permit but we did struggle to find a space in the nearest car park on severRead moreal occasions, however if the car park was full we always managed to park on Princess Street. A Denbighshire carpass is provided so you can park in a nearby car park and walk to flat on a level river walkway. If you have no mobility issues you can park in Princess Street but there are 19 steps to descend and approx 5-6 steps to ascend to get to the flat door. The flat is exactly what I expected from the description given. Perfect for two peRead moreople especially if you intend to eat out and spend your days exploring Llangollen and surrounding area. Firstly the location is superb. Coffee watching the river activity was great and all Llangollen is on hand. This is a small unit which is a bit awkward when cooking and has no laundry facilities. But there are plenty of good eateries about. Great riverside location. Short 5 minute walk into town. Car park was 300 Mts away and the Free parking pass was an added bonus. The host was lovely and on the end of the phone if required. All in all a great location and a good place to have as a base for exploring north wales.

A nice mews in a great location. We made the mistake of booking the week of the International Musical Eisteddfod. This caused us major problems with parking, apparently with the parking permit supplied, this is not a problem on other weeks.

An excellent location overlooking the River Dee. Short walk into Llangollen town centre and well located for shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking is difficult on nearby streets but the property owners provide a parking permit which is valid not just for the local ( nearby!) car parks but also for the whole of Denbighshire.
