This attractive barn conversion offers contemporary decor against the country styles of a traditional farm building, which has been sympathetically renovated. It is ideally situated for a rural retreat, nestling in the grounds of the owner’s property on this former farm. You are close to the lively port town of Bideford (3 miles) and all the thrilling attractions along the beautiful North Devon coast. Four people can sleep comfortably in two inviting bedrooms, with ample accommodation for two contented canines.

You and your family will love relaxing in the spacious, sunlit lounge while you sprawl on comfortable sofas to watch TV or a movie. Open up the French windows and you can spill straight out on to a patio area with table and chairs, enabling you to enjoy the fresh air any time of day. The holiday feeling continues with the beautiful sun lounge towards the rear of the property. Here, you can bask in sunlight and open the doors to an enclosed garden where there is plenty of room for children and their four-legged friends to play. You can indulge yourself in the private hot tub or dine al fresco to make the most of those long summer evenings.

The ancient marine town of Bideford (3 miles) offers parks, galleries, shops and restaurants. Westward Ho (5 miles) with its long sandy beach, Atlantic surf and seafront with lively amusements provides enjoyment for everyone. Golfers might like to play a round at The Royal North Devon Golf Club (5 miles), an historic course that stretches across Northam Burrows Country Park. Dogs love to walk the burrows, too - and there is a designated area where they can play on the beach all year round.

Lovely quite area, we could find walks from barn with dogs. However lovely nearby beaches reached by car. Superstore nearby too. Barn is lovely and spacious, log burner an added bonus but not needed as underfloor heating was enough. Hot tub BIG too. A lovely place to stay.

The Barn was comfortable and well thought out. Our problem was it was too hot plus some of the kitchen equipment we wanted to use was completely unusable. As we paid a premium for these 4 nights away it was not our best experience plus the local contact did not get back to us on the matter we raised with them. That said it was a nice break but I woRead moreuld expect better contact and facilities on a site like this. Hide

Lovely property, nice and clean inside, hot tub was amazing, we didn't see anyone for our whole stay, this meant we never found out where the owners field was to walk the dog which was a shame (maybe add this too the welcome book). Good WiFi which is surprising given the location. Would go back.

Great property - spacious and airy, but still cosy. Really well presented / clean & comfortable with everything you could want for your holiday - with a very quirky view from the hot tub! We love this cottage - this was our second stay and we intend to return! The cottage is perfect for my disabled father, who struggles to walk, as it is well laid out. The church situated next to the cottage is stunning, and the field in which our dog can run is ideal! The owners are friendly and helpful.
