This lovely country lodge makes the perfect base for family holidays exploring Snowdonia and the North Wales coast with the waggy-tailed one. It’s one of eight detached lodges, all with outstanding views. You'll never be short of walks here, both out of the door and further afield. Take your pick of one of the many mountain climbs, valley treks or coastal runarounds. Neither you nor the dogs will ever be stuck for something to do!

 

The attractive wooden lodge has an airy open-plan living space, with comfortable sofas where you can curl up and enjoy the mountain views by day and your favourite film by night, with your dog at your feet. There’s a family dining table where you can plan the next day’s activities over dinner, and a well-equipped kitchen area. There are two bedrooms, sleeping four in total, and two contemporary bathrooms, both with wardrobe's, one en-suite. You’ll love the light and views from every room. Outside is n enclosed patio area with garden furniture, a BBQ for lazy afternoons in the sun and a shared lawn.

 

The town of Conwy, a World Heritage Site with a 13th-century castle and pretty harbour, is 3 miles away on the River Conwy estuary. It’s a wonderful place to spend a day mooching, eating and shopping. The bustling resort of Llandudno, which has dog-friendly beaches, is 7 miles away. The Snowdonia National Park offers walks, action and adventure for everyone, on four legs and two. Join one of the many walking trails, with something for all abilities and stamina levels. If you want to tackle Snowdon itself, it’s 25 miles away.

Lovely, clean and spacious. Very easy with a dog. Amazing views and always friendly neighbours in the other cabins! Good places to eat nearby and not far from walks or the beach. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay. The lodge is very well equipped with everything you need for cooking, including a slow cooker. The beds are very comfortable and perfect for a good night's sleep. Very nice lodge. High quality interior, with attractive decor and fittings. Attention to detail throughout. Very comfortable . Quiet location, nice outdoor space. Three adults stayed for three nights. It was all lovely.

The property is in a great location for visiting places of interest, all within a 10 mile radius. The beds were lovely and comfortable and smart sofas in the lounge. Our dog enjoyed the garden, though she did find a small escape route!! We were blessed with very good weather and loved sitting outside enjoying the peace and beautiful views. Lovely and quiet location with a small field opposite, which was great for the dogs first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Close to Conwy and only 40mins from beautiful Anglesey with Rhos on Sea for a lovely sandy beach which is dog freindly.

The lodge is located in a quiet spot and has easy access to a grass area for dogs. It was nice and warm and the bed was comfy. Water was always warm and it had both a bath and a shower. Loved our stay in Dragonfly lodge. Had everything we needed and a great base location for seeing North Wales. Make sure you read the directions properly and do the complete u-turn into the site and dont do down the vey narrow lane by mistake.

We enjoyed our stay here and the site/accommodation is perfect if you have dogs. Overall the lodge is very well equipped. The beds are really comfortable and the showers have good pressure. Nice to have storage in the bathroom. The Groes Inn is a few minutes drive down the road and serves lovely food and is very dog friendly. Their 3 course lunch dRead moreeal is excellent value. A gem of a find! Beautifully well equipped lodge in lovely surroundings. A great location from which to explore and a great place to come back to at the end of a busy day enjoying all that north wales has to offer. Would thoroughly recommend.
