External stairs lead up to the decked terrace and through the patio doors into the bright and refreshing open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The fabulous lounge offers beautiful feature windows, soft furnishings and a TV/DVD, making this an ideal space for relaxation. The spacious kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, and there’s also a stylish dining area. Exploring further, there are two cosy bedrooms – a twin room and an en-suite double bedroom with a TV. Heading outside you can unwind on the decked terrace which features the private sunken hot tub. With the added bonus of an iPod dock with speakers, this is a perfect spot to lie back and relax. – and there’s plenty of outdoor furniture on the terrace so you can enjoy an al fresco meal. You are also welcome to explore the grounds which includes a children’s playground.
With Dartmoor within a quarter of a mile, there are numerous wonderful walks for your four-legged friends right from the doorstep, with dog-friendly pubs and cafes to be found in Okehampton (2 miles), Tavistock (14 miles) and Launceston (18 miles). Pups are welcome at attractions including Okehampton Castle (2.5 miles), Lydford Gorge (8.5 miles), the ruins of Launceston Castle (18 miles) and the popular Roadford Lake (14.5 miles) with its fantastic walks, abundant wildlife and variety of water sports.
