The dream for most people when looking for a holiday cottage is to find one close enough to a beach to be able to walk there whenever you want to – and it’s even better if you’re also able to catch a glimpse of the ocean from one or two of the windows. This pretty lodge-style accommodation is just a short walk away from a beautiful sandy beach and offers incredible sea views aplenty! This is the perfect holiday home-from-home for a family looking for a bucket and spade break where up to three canine companions can join the adventure too.

Packed full of character, there are quirky features scattered throughout this cosy three-bedroom cottage. Separated into two detached parts, you enter the first half via a hallway that leads you into the main lounge - a warm and welcoming space with a wood burner and big squishy sofas to sink into after a long walk. The snug at the back of the house has dual aspect windows offering uninterrupted views across Freshwater East. The three bedrooms offer flexible sleeping quarters that will suit most families with children. The kitchen/dining room is housed in a separate building just a few steps away.

Pembrokeshire is the UK’s only National Park with a coastline, and its famous Coastal Path winds its way right past the bottom of the garden, meaning scenic ‘walkies’ are never far away. The walled seaside town of Tenby can be found just 9 miles from the property, where you’ll find a fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Whilst in the Tenby area, pay Heatherton World of Activities a visit. Open all year round and offering both kids and canines an extensive range of fun activities, this is a day out the whole family will enjoy.

The cottage is in a lovely quiet location with spectacular view along the coast. The character of the 100 year old purpose built cottage has been very well preserved, but updated to make it very comfortable for modern living. Our dog loved the freedom of a very secure garden.

Our 2nd stay here and it was still very comfortable, cosy and welcoming. We loved the big enclosed garden for our dog. The sea views are wonderful and can be seen from one of the bedrooms. Well equipped and has an old world charm. Easy parking, beautiful beaches. We had the best Sunday dinner ever at tge Stackpole Inn highly recommend just 10 minutRead moree drive away and dog friendly. Wild lakes Wales has an adventure place and a tipi wood fired restaurant called Stoked near Narberth 25 mins drive Hide

Lovely cottage bungalow. The result of a labour of lover over many years. The separate kitchen/diner was a one off gem.
