Picture your pets tearing happily through sand dunes while you follow, admiring stunning sea views as you work up an appetite for a traditional fish-and-chip supper. This quiet property in the Devon seaside town of Westward Ho! makes this a reality. With three bedrooms, set over three floors and with a spacious outside courtyard, there’s room for up to six humans and two doggie companions.

The interior is decorated in seaside-inspired yellows and blues, with tasteful images of beach scenes on the walls. From the first floor, there are fantastic views of the sea. On milder evenings, enjoy dinner in the fully enclosed garden while your pet makes puppy eyes at you for scraps. This area is gravelled and a prime spot for your sharp-toothed friends to gnaw down on their special holiday bones. The open-plan lounge/diner is a great place for kicking back together as a group, either watching something on the Smart TV or slowly making plans for tomorrow over a glass of wine or two.

The coast at Westward Ho! is great for enjoying some pet-oriented fun, either along the sand or in The Burrows, a country park with grazing sheep behind the beach. At the northern end, there are large rocks to climb over and a pathway that takes you around the golf course. At Great Torrington (11 miles) you can join the Tarka Trail, a former railway which is now a cycling and walking path taking in lovely scenery. Appledore (3 miles) and Clovelly (12 miles) are traditional fishing towns with charming cobbled streets, that are both worth exploring.

We went away with our teenage twins and two teenage nephews. Location is ideal and the place is lovely, well kept and had every we needed for a long weekend.

We had a lovely stay. Everything within walking distance. The beaches are beautiful. The dogs really enjoyed their first time on a beach.

Absolutely perfect little house. Couldnt ask for more. This was our third year staying in the house and I hope to be back again next year. Perfect location, well equipped, beautifully clean couldnt ask for more. Also lovely neighbours.

The location of this property is fantastic, very handy for all of Westward Ho! THe guest parking is always full but the carpark down the road is very reasonable on a weekly rate. THe property is perfectly proportioned for a small family. The beach for dogs upto October !st is a quite a hike and you need to watch the tides. If you visit be certain tRead moreo eat at The Drift restaurant,best food and dog friendly. Hide

Lovely house in an excellent location. We really enjoyed our stay here. Bedrooms are good size. The enclosed garden was perfect as we were travelling with our dog Kitchen was well equipped for a self catering stay. Location was great, just a short walk to the beach. Plenty of local restaurants and bars to choose from.
