Enjoy a quiet holiday with friends or family and up to two dogs at this welcoming cottage located in the quiet part of Tywyn town. You’ll be just 1 mile from the sandy Tywyn Beach and ideally situated to explore the Dysynni Valley and Cader Idris mountains (12 miles). Join the Wales Coast Path 1 mile away for walks rich in excellent views for the humans, and exciting new wildlife smells for your canine chums. And if you’re lucky, you may even spot some bottlenose dolphins in the water as you stroll.

Once inside, the main entrance hall leads to a charming open-plan living area with original slate flagstone flooring – ideal for those muddy paws coming in from a day’s exploration. A vintage-inspired decor adds to the appeal. The lounge provides a relaxing ambiance with its wood burner-effect gas fire set on a slate hearth, TV, DVD, music centre and ample seating. In the dining area, tuck into sociable family meals prepared in the country-style kitchen, which also features a second, smaller, dining area for snacks and breakfasts. From the main room, wooden double-glazed doors lead to a back garden with patio furniture, creating a lovely spot for you to sip morning coffee while planning the day’s adventures.

A short 0.5-mile stroll takes you to the popular Dysynni Broad, a haven for fishing enthusiasts and a lovely area for a dog walk. The town centre offers an array of shops, pubs, and restaurants and is also home to the Magic Lantern Cinema, where well-behaved dogs can join you for a film viewing. You can also board a steam train on the Talyllyn line, which makes a memorable day out with plenty of photo opportunities. The charming village of Aberdovey (4.5 miles) is excellent for more adventurous activities such as mountaineering, surfing, and water sports like sailing – you can get there by walking along the Wales Coast Path.

A very comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. To the left of the cottage are the salt marshes with great walks and lots of wildlife and to the right is a short walk to the centre of Tywyn with all the amenities you could want including a range of food options. It couldn't be better.

Lovely cottage with lots of space in a nice location. Beautiful part of the world, and village has lots of amenities. Please note; Beds are very soft and floors (ground level) are very uneven.

We had a really lovely holiday. Ty Bont is great in its spacious and what it provides. We love the location . So close to the main street but far enough away. Have loved the cinema and the music on friday nights. Would definitely recommend Ty Bont. There's lots to do for all the family within the town and beyond.

A very well equipped cottage and in a superb location, walking distance to the town centre and into the countryside. Lovely view inland up to the mountains. Car parking more than adequate.

Good food locally and a short drive away, included a great Sunday lunch at The Tyn y Cornel alongside the Tal y Lyn Lake, Seebreeze in Aberdovey, and 5 minutes walk from the property, The Salt Marsh Kitchen. Ty Bont seems to have provided everything for the stay away. The Snowdonia and Cambrian countryside was breathtaking, a great location..

A wonderful stay at a beautiful, quaint cottage. Very well equipped, a home from home. The village has everything one might need. The beach is nearby and is stunning. A must visit is the delicious bakery just around the corner. We will definitely return here.

This was the first time we'd ever been away from home over the Xmas period and so it was a new experience for us. The cottage is in a wonderful, peaceful location and is very well equipped in every room and in every respect. We very much enjoyed our stay and it was great to be able to visit some of our favourite places, like Dolgoch Falls, AberdoveRead morey and Corris. The Xmas Day meal came out a treat too! Would recommend and I'm sure that now we've found this little gem, we'll be booking up again. Hide

Had a lovely long weekend stay . The cottage is really well equipped, cosy and in a great location. About 20 mins and youre at the sea front passing shops and a few bars on the way . Or for a really long walk turn left and walk past the lagoon and to the sea front which we did on the Sunday with the dog and took us about 90mins of lovely scenery . We all really enjoyed our stay at Ty Bont. 4 generations under one roof. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed. The soft bath towels were lovely as were the little touches. The kids enjoyed the Diney and Netflix Channels. The location was great and Tywyn has a lot to offer for families
