"If you want spectacular views and fresh sea air, this delightful two-bedroom property definitely delivers! Enjoying an enviable location to the west of Brixham Harbour, a dog-friendly green lies less than 200m from your door, perfect for those early morning stick-chasing sessions. You are also just a short walk from the town’s marina, where you can join the South West Coast Path – from here, your canine companion would love to lead you to one of the town’s quieter beaches, such as Fishcombe Cove to the west, or the secluded St Mary’s Bay in the east. Overlooking the harbour, set up and back from the road, the property is reached through a patioed seating area. With outstanding views across Torbay, this is a great spot to enjoy a drink as the sun sets, or simply to sit out on a sunny day, but your hounds will need to be on their best behaviour, as the patio isn’t enclosed. The stunning views can also be enjoyed from inside the property, with the open-plan lounge/diner and both of the bedrooms looking out to sea. From the door, it is a mere 350m walk to the quayside, where you will find plenty of cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and bars to keep you fed and watered, as well as your other shopping needs. A stay in Brixham also puts you within easy reach of the English Riviera resorts of Paignton and Torquay, while history hounds might prefer to pad the pavements of historic Dartmouth and Totnes – each of these towns lie within 10 miles. The wilds of Dartmoor also beckon from 20 miles away."

Fantastic view over looking the harbour. Brilliant if you love boats. No good if your of the older generation. Main bedroom on top floor. Bathroom on middle floor. Or if you have young children. Stairs are a bit steep. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice to have a dish washer. Could do with a bit TLC.

Beautiful location could benefit from some TLC. Steps to cottage regardless of whether you parked front or back. Steep staircases in the cottage would challenge any body with mobility issues. But we really enjoy our stay. Spent many hours looking at the lovely view from the windows. Very relaxing. Will book for next year.

Fabulous cottage , fantastic views !!! Lovely and local to the habour ... and if you are lucky you can park on the road down the steps from the cottage ... when driving up I held down on the address given on the booking and it took me to maps but it never took me to the property .. Read the description on how to get there .

Lovely place Brixham but a number of small issues let this property down. Maintenance of fixture and fittings and steep and awkward access make this a 3 star rating.

Sweet cottage, could do with a few improvements, the shower needs a bit of attention. Lots of steep walking , and steep stairs in cottage , so careful if you have mobility issues. No internet provided. Clean comfy beds and gorgeous view in glorious Brixham. Milk and biscuits provided, thank you.

Fantastic stay at see view, it definitely lives up its name, watching the boats and the harbour was very relaxing. We had amazing weather so sat outside most days. There is lots of steps and hills in brixham but dont let that put you off. We were able to find parking at the back of the property, which was a bonus. House was lovely, plenty of hot waRead moreter and everything you needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend and book again. One other tip watch the seagulls very noisy Hide

Gorgeous cottage with amazing views. Very relaxing place to be. Close to town and to Fishcombe Cove for swimming. We found parking really close by on N.Furzeham and found the green nearby ideal for quick dog walks. Hope to return as soon as possible.

The cottage is in a fantastic position overlooking the harbour. You can walk down to the town in a few minutes (takes longer on the way back as its fairly steep!) There are some nice walks along the coastal path and woods. The cottage itself could benefit from a bit of TLC, but the beds were comfy and we had a relaxing few days away.

The cottage is in a great location, with an absolutely stunning view over the harvbour, and 5 minutes walk into town. It's comfortable, clean and reasonably well equipped. It's claimed to sleep 4. although there is only one master bedroom, and the sleeping arrangements for the 2nd couple would be a bit ad hoc, although perfectly serviceable. The onRead morely possible downside would be that it's high up, and access meabs walking up steps or steep slopes, vchallenging for peope of limited mobility. Hide
