The cottage is in an ideal area. People who can walk, can walk to the beach, go to the shops, there's food areas that take dogs, pet shop up the road and it's close to other towns. If you are less mobile like myself you can hire scooters from near by towns. The local people were all very nice. The neighbours were very friendly. The cottage has plenRead morety of room, facilities were all good, appliances were very good. This was our second visit, it won't be our last. Hide

Lovely cottage in a perfect area for local walks and strolls into town. We conquered little hangman and loved clambering over the rocks in the bay. Had a good meal in the foscle pub and the boys loved the ice creams. The dinosaur and wildlife park just 5 minutes away was a good day out. All amenities in the cottage were just right. All in all a lovRead moreely place to stay in. Hide

A lovely long weekend in Water Cottage which had everything (and more) that we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the cottage was warm and cozy. Nice to have the scones and cream on arrival, plus some doggy treats. The lane was very muddy but there had been a lot of rain!

The cottage was excellent, very clean and comfortable and a great location in the town. Lovely touch to leave scones, cream and jam, that was very much enjoyed. Unfortunately there isn't much to do in the town in the evening. There are no restaurants and only one pub serving meals unless you want to drive somewhere. Would highly recommend the cottaRead morege though as that was lovely, cosy, clean and very well equipped. Hide

we had a great holiday. the cottage was clean and comfortable, and would come back. some of the beeches that state are dog friendly may not be suitable for people with disabilities. Also trying to visit the beech at Lee was like a white knuckle ride, as the road was just suitable for 1 car and that was tight. My husband says if you have a very largRead moree car/motor home etc you may struggle to access the property at the back where the garages are to park up. Otherwise great cottage and holiday. Hide
