Sleeping four guests, the dog-friendly, two-bedroom property is set within a renovated, Victorian building and is well-located for coastal walks.

The spacious apartment, which marries period elegance with modern-day comfort, is entered via the hall, where you can hang dog leads and find a washer/dryer in a cupboard for whizzing through doggy towels after long walks. The exquisitely decorated, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the perfect place to settle in for a movie night, using the projector and screen, while you lavish attention on your furry-eared friend. You will also find everything you need in here to help you prepare and serve up delicious dinners when you choose to dine in. The sofa bed can be made up as a double if required for two extra guests. Bedrooms at the apartment include a king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a double. There is also a family bathroom. Take your happy hound out for a stroll around the grounds when you rise, then return to enjoy breakfast inside or on your private patio. Fire up the BBQ in the evening after days out adventuring.

Pick up the Wales Coast Path close by and take your eager chum for a bracing walk in either direction. Walk 3 miles along the route to Kenfig National Nature Reserve, where you and your delighted dog can wander through the sand dunes and beside the reservoir. Visit Margam Country Park, 6.5 miles away, where there are sections of green, open space where you can let your four-legged friend off his lead so he can run free.

A wonderful apartment stunning views of the beach. The apartment was very well equipped and we had a wonderful stay. Even the weather was good.
