We were really pleased with the cottage. The location and scenery was amazing and yes, although the drive up to the cottage was narrow and a little steep, it wasn't a problem in fact it was lovely to see the scenery, cows and sheep! At the end of a day, the hot tub was an added bonus. The cottage wasn't too far away from visiting places.

We booked both Red Kites and Buzzards View specifically because they were right next door to each other and because one allowed dogs (enabling one daughter and family to take their dog with them) and one did not allow dogs (meaning the other daughter and family who is allergic to dogs would be free of allergies). We were also delighted that there wRead moreas a EV charging point at the cottages, particularly as we arrived with three EVs! Both cottages are beautiful and very comfortable even allowing all ten of us to eat together in the bigger cottage. The kitchen has everything youd need and loads of crockery which helped with our large party. The location, high up on the hill, gave amazing views and it was lovely to spend some time in the hot tubs watching the sun set over the hills. Great walks too right on your doorstep and the wee stream not far from the cottage gave hours of fun for the older grandkids. There are lots of fun places to visit within a few miles of the cottages and being close to Colwyn Bay and Llandudno allowed for nice walks (and cycles for the kids) along the promenades. Lucy, the owner, was very attentive and went out of her way to meet our specific needs. Our party included twin boys so Lucy made sure that one cottage had two travels cots and sourced an additional highchair so we had two high chairs too. She came one day with a table tennis table and bats and balls much to the delight of the older grandkids. All in all Im delighted that we booked these cottages and wouldnt hesitate to come again. A lovely cottage in a very secluded location. A really comfortable bed and spacious lounge for relaxing in on an evening. We stargazed on the deck during the clear nights and had a really relaxing holiday whilst enjoying the various sites the area had to offer. Really handy for Conwy and Llandudno and other sites were also easy to get to. The trackRead more to the property is not for the faint hearted, though.
