Head out and explore the fishing village lined with pastel-coloured houses and while away the days sat on one of the many dog-friendly beaches on the North Devon coast; there’s plenty to explore right from your doorstep.

There are an array of seating options, with a wood burner and a Smart TV ensuring a cosy evening in with your canine companion by your side. Behind the sofas is a large dining table, while the kitchen has all you could need when cooking for a large group. On the first floor, there is a beautiful arched window providing gorgeous views across the sea. Choose from two bedrooms: one a king-size benefitting from an en-suite shower room and the other a tastefully furnished double. The family bathroom sits just next door, with a separate shower and a spa bath for long soaks. On the top floor, there is an additional bedroom with both a double and a single bed, and estuary views. Outside is a small courtyard with parking for one car, as well as an outdoor tap which is great for washing muddy paws.
Appledore is a fantastic location for a break away, with a selection of eateries and a small number of quaint galleries and shops to explore. Take a visit to Instow (2 miles) or Westward Ho! (2 miles) to wander on the dog-friendly stretch of sand, build sandcastles and make the most of the seaside experience. For long walks, the South West Coast Path is a fantastic trail which can be joined from Appledore and stretches for miles in either direction with family-run cafes dotted along the trail.
