Set in generous lawned gardens, the impressive, single-storey abode, which enjoys magnificent views, also offers ample space for playing with your delighted dog out in the fresh air after your trips out.

Make your way into this contemporary hideaway to find bright, airy accommodation to suit people and their precious pets. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a large picture window where you can lose yourselves in the views while your contented canine strolls about and familiarises himself with his new home. Prepare meals in the kitchen here to enjoy up at the table or breakfast bar and unwind on the comfortable seating in front of the Smart TV. Pour yourself a glass of chilled wine from the cooler then pull the bi-folding doors back on warm days and wander outside with your happy hound at your heel. Settle him for the night in the main living space before heading off to one of the sumptuous bedrooms to enjoy a good night’s sleep. we had a fantastic holiday here, really peaceful and quiet. The living area is superb, and the patio doors open straight onto a large patio and lawn. The kitchen and equipment is very good, and the bathrooms and bedrooms clean and tidy. The rear of the property is not overlooked by anyone at all, just fields and hills. Just a few yards up the lane Read moreto the Coastal Path, and down the lane to Heddon Valley. Exmoor and the North Devon coast are lovely. The road is closed at Hynters Inn (until Dec 25) Hide

This is a bright, comfortable modern property and we had an excellent time. What really recommends it is being able to open the 2 sets of folding doors to the terrace and to sit there in complete quiet while enjoying the exceptional views. Great for walkers (if you don't mind some steep hills!).

A beautiful, spacious and comfortable cottage that served our needs perfectly. The garden is lovely and spacious with stunning views. Ive never been somewhere so peaceful. The scones were also very much appreciated! The only comment for potential guests to be aware of is that the house is very remote, the nearest pub is at the bottom of a pretty biRead moreg hill. This wasnt an issue for us, but I think is unclear on the booking as it simply says 1 mile away. Hide

A comfortable, spacious and well presented cottage and garden in a beautiful location within yards of the South West Coastal Path. It is safe for small children, with a well-fenced garden, though you would need to bring your own travel cot and high chair. Hard floor surfaces throughout mean that it is easy to keep clean.

Lovely views from Heddons view. Lots of lovely walks to be had from here too. It is very remote with the nearest pub about 1/2 hour walk (uphill on way back). Enjoyed our stay. Just need to ensure there is cutlery for 6 and an airer for clothes to dry as even though we went away in August the weather wasnt warm enough to dry clothes outside.

We had a great stay here. A beautiful bungalow with spacious garden, perfect for dogs & children to play in. Comfortable beds and a homely feel. The location is great for exploring exmoor, and also the north Devon beaches. It is remote - 10 mins to the local shop.
