Active adventurers will love exploring the magical walking trails from Talgarth, including a wander around the tranquil waters of Llangorse Lake (5 miles).

At the heart of this single-storey property is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, filled with character from its original oak flooring, warming colour palette and views through the dual-aspect windows. The cosy seating area is a great place to sit and read a book or watch a film, whilst the dining table is located beside the patio doors so that you can let the fresh air pour in whilst you indulge in a meal for two. At the end of the room is the compact kitchen, with everything you need to be able to get creative in the kitchen whilst admiring the garden scenery through the window. The bedroom can be accessed via the hall, furnished with a comfortable double bed and neutral decor which will help you to sink into a slumber. The final room is the bathroom, complete with an elegant free-standing roll-top bath for luxurious evening soaks, as well as a shower cubicle. Outside, you’ll be able to spend time with your hound in the enclosed garden where there is plenty of space to run and play.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. Everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen. Plus a good size secure garden for our Collie and table and chairs for us to enjoy the sun when we got back late afternoon. Even though mid September the weather was glorious. Thank you Ray for making us feel very welcome.
