The lounge has two sofas and plenty of space for your dog to stretch out and enjoy the warmth of the wood burner at the end of a day of exploring. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped and open out via patio doors onto the small courtyard area for which there are a table and chairs provided. Upstairs two bedrooms, both finished in understated muted colours, giving them both an elegant restful feel.
The pretty village of Appledore is a great place to enjoy a relaxing break with your family and your beloved pup at your side. The village’s harbourside pubs are a great place to sit out and watch the world go by with your canine companion at your feet, especially after you have enjoyed a scenic walk along the River Torridge or around Northam Burrows Country Park, 1.5 miles away. The expansive beach at Westward Ho! (2 miles) welcomes dogs during the low season, however, if you are travelling in the summer and want your dog to experience the joy of jumping in the waves, then head north to Saunton Sands (18 miles), a huge beach which is open to dogs throughout the year.
