We really enjoyed our stay at Bridgemead, it was well equipped with everything we needed. The walks were brilliant especially the one to the beach, our dog enjoyed meeting lots of dog friends and everyone in the village was so friendly. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return. Very lovely cootage in a great and quiet location. We were here for the second time and again with our children and baby-granddaughter. Nice garden, with free view to the hill (backside of the cliff), walking distance to the beach, busstop in front of the house if you should want to go to Sidmouth and walk back (highy recommanded, but expect a few Read moresteep climbs). We enjoyed our stay again and our daughetr, mother of the granddaughter) already checked the availability for next year. Hide

A great week by the sea, just a 15 minute walk away down the lane. Plus a nearby excellent local pub, much appreciated in the bad weather! Such a comfortable, warm home to come back to, with a fire in the evenings. A perfect break for us and our dog, we hope to return.

Peaceful, cosy and homely. We very much enjoyed our stay at Bridgemead and discovering Branscombe. We loved the views from the property of the wooded hillside. Great location for accessing beautiful walks from the door in either direction, close to SW coast path. Masons Arms a handy 10 minute walk away. Great to have on site parking.
