This cosy shepherd's hut on its own in the middle of a field and under the stars is a perfect getaway. It's warm, has all amenities we needed, and the outdoor firepit was an extra treat. We took 2 dogs, who were safe in the enclosed drive and garden. The hut is near some great walks, including Sugar Loaf, and just about 45 minutes from Pen Y Fan. IRead moret's also close to some great pubs. All in all, a wonderful find. Hide

Lovely little cabin, set in an idyllic location with only sheep, cows or birds for your neighbours. Def our kind of place. We absolutely loved it. We have 2 little dogs and they were free to roam without worrying the livestock. Great location for Southern Wales with walks, history and great scenery right on your doorstep. We had a lovely weekend at A Night Under The Old Oak! What a fabulous place! Located on the owners farm, but very far away. Quite, surrounded by nature and friendly sheep and cows! The owner, Andrew was extremely helpful and friendly! The lodge was bigger than we expected! We have used the fire pit twice during our stay. Wood is supplied, which wasRead more a bonus. Our fur baby, Dexter absolutely loved running around ,chasing squirrels or just watching the sheep. Hide

A perfect spot for a countryside getaway - the lodge is set in completely private and enclosed (and dog proof) grounds, with absolutely nobody overlooking the gardens save for cows and sheep! It was remarkably well equipped and comfortable, with a good shower, plenty of kitchen equipment (no oven, but a hob, microwave, toaster, fridge with freezer Read morebox, and a very fancy barbecue on the deck), and a bed big enough for my 6'5" husband to get a decent night's sleep. We would highly recommend. Hide

The most perfect get away, as farmers ourselves it could not of been a more peaceful place to stay as we were able to completely switch off. The accommodation was super modern and had everything we needed. The views are stunning and the sunsets even better. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking to have a quiet break away.
