Chapel Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. It is in a very rural location so if you do not mind having to drive a few miles to go shopping and you love country walks then it is ideal. There is no back garden, a fact I somehow missed when I booked the cottage. I normally look for 'enclosed back garden' as we have a dog. However, this Read moredid not prove to be a problem and we had plenty of walks. There is just one pub in the village / hamlet and it is very close by. They serve delicious home-cooked food but it is not open all the time. We had a lovely Sunday lunch there but the pub closed at 3pm as we left - not to be opened again until 6pm on Wednesday evening. I would recommend Chapel Cottage for people who want a quiet 'get away from it all' break. Hide

Beautiful cottage in a fab location , comfy and warm and spotless . Pub is great for dining - if not bring provisions as its small drive back to the nearest supermarket . Would 100% recommend

Had a lovely stay in Chapel Cottage, the cottage was furnished to a great standard and we would love to return. Perfectly located for Hay (10 mins away), and short stretch to Brecon Beacons, not to mention lovely heathland at Begwyns close by. Thanks!

Probably the best cottage we have stayed in. Exceptionally well equipped, very comfortable and spacious. If outdoor space is important this cottage is possibly not ideal but with excellent walking routes nearby we did not find this a problem.

This cottage is spacious and well appointed and a great base for exploring mid-wales. Some lovely walks from here. The pub in the village does great pub grub and is welcoming. Only downside is the lack of outside space.

Beautiful quiet cottage in this little village, very well equipped and comfortable. Ideal spot for visiting Hay on Wye and surrounds, and not too far from the Brecon Beacons for exploring either.

The cottage is beautiful and we had a wonderful stay the only thing I would change is to have new shower heads in both showers as they're falling apart, and a smart TV because we could not get the television to work during our Christmas stay and for the price we paid this I believe is an essential item.

Beautiful cottage and location, perfect for couples with older children. We took our dogs, but be aware there is no gardens for them, but plenty of walks in surrounding area.

Beautiful converted chapel in a peaceful and sleepy village. The locals are super friendly and happy to chat, Tony at the Ox is a fantastic host running the local pub which is literally across the road.
