This stylish property, situated just 3 miles from the centre of Buxton, is an ideal contemporary bolthole for you and your family – including the canine family members! Sleeping six across three peaceful bedrooms with space for up to two dogs to relax, this property is perfect for exploring Derbyshire and the Peak District. Head for walkies around 23 acres of parkland at the Pavilion Gardens (3 miles) or take a hike up to Kinder Low (16 miles) for spectacular views.
The holiday home has a bright and airy feel, with comfortable interiors and lots of large windows. The sleek kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm during your stay, while large cosy sofas arranged around the TV in the lounge make a tranquil spot to curl up in on a chilly evening. There is a sofa bed for the 6th guest. At bedtime, climb the stairs to the lovely bedrooms; two have wonderful views over the rolling hills while all have calming, neutral decor to help you drift off to sleep. In the morning, head down to the garden with your coffee, or enjoy breakfast at the dining table that looks out at beautiful views.
Take a tour of Blue John Cavern (12 miles) where brave pups are welcome to join you – you could pair this with a walk up the famous Mam Tor too, as there are routes up the hill direct from the cavern. Grab a cable car up to the Heights of Abraham (20.5 miles), where the dogs can join you in all the outside attractions, or take a tram ride at the Crich Tramway Village (23 miles) where the staff will encourage the dogs to hop aboard too. Closer to home, the Discover Buxton Tram (3 miles) offers a leisurely tour where you can stop off for walkies at Grin Low Woods.
