Lap up a little luxury and stay in this superb property set within the village of Cwmtwrch-Uchaf, an excellent location for exploring the Brecon Beacons 6.5 miles away and the beaches of Swansea Bay 18 miles away. Sleek, stylish, and boasting its very own hot tub, it’s a haven for families and groups of up to eight humans and two hounds. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, and have provided fluffy towels, bathrobes for use with the hot tub,sun loungers and even an organ and guitar for music-minded guests.

Beneath the charming exterior is an impressive retreat packed with socialising spots such as an elegant kitchen with room for all the family, especially the waggy-tailed members. Sizzle up something special and breakfast like kings in the dining room, treating your patient pup to some well-deserved treats too. Film nights call for popcorn in the lounge, and on summer evenings throw open the patio doors for BBQ suppers outside and a glass of fizz in the bubbling hot tub. There’s a downstairs wet room for hosing down muddy paws and the generous first-floor bathroom is top dog for long soaks. At bedtime, there are four upstairs bedrooms to choose from for a restful night’s sleep, including a delightful room with an en-suite shower room.

Your sea dog is welcome to splash in the waves and scamper along the shores of many of Swansea’s popular beaches, with restrictions only in place during peak season on beaches such as Aberavon 17 miles away, and Bracelet Bay 20 miles to the west. If countryside strolls are more your cup of tea, you’ll adore discovering the southern reaches of the Brecon Beacons, a location best known for caves, reservoirs, and waterfalls such as the dramatic 90-foot Henrhyd Falls 7 miles away.
