Step into this magical property to find yourselves in its welcoming farmhouse kitchen. Make a cup of tea and top your dog’s bowl of water up here before moving on through to sit with them in the conservatory for a while, simply soaking up the scenery through the picture window. Serve dinner for everyone else in the kitchen or the lounge/diner, while Rover reclines by the wood burner. Watch TV in here on one of the comfy sofas. The bathroom is also on the ground floor. Follow steep, cottage-style stone steps up to a double bedroom, with extra single bed. Pack a picnic and walk into Talybont-on-Usk, where you can stroll along beside the river or take a 3.5-mile walk to the reservoir along the route of a 19th-century tramway, taking in magnificent views. Embark upon the 2.5-mile Henry Vaughan Walk through the Talybont Valley or find routes through the forest.
