I recently stayed at Alpaca Cottages for four nights, and it was exactly what we needed to relax and reset. The location is absolutely beautiful right in the middle of the countryside, so if youre looking for peace and quiet, its perfect. At the same time, there are plenty of things to do within a 1520 minute drive, so you have the best of both woRead morerlds. The cottage itself was really cute and ideal for a couples getaway. The bed was super comfy, and we both had a great nights sleep every night. We loved the stunning views across the fields and being surrounded by the farm animals. There was a lovely terrace where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and the hot tub was a real bonus, just a short walk across the garden. Pamela was a fantastic host friendly, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. We had a small issue with the Wi-Fi, but she sorted it out the very same day, which was much appreciated. It was also a nice touch to have tea, coffee, sugar, and towels provided for the hot tub. There are some great local attractions too. The nearby zoo is well worth a visit and is easy to spend 23 hours exploring. Theres also a lovely pub in the village serving great food, and nearby lakes where you can hire canoes or kayaks for the day if you fancy something more active. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. It was the perfect peaceful escape, with plenty to explore if you wanted to venture out. Wed definitely recommend Alpaca Cottages and would love to return in the future! 5 Hide
