Discover this sleek, dark wood lodge set in the idyllic Somerset countryside with sweeping views across the Dartmoor National Park. This charming country hideaway is the perfect rural escape for a small family or group of friends adventuring with up to four waggy-tailed companions. Catch some afternoon rays perched on your raised veranda while your curious pup explores the enclosed courtyard.

This inviting converted cowshed offers a refined rustic interior with whitewashed stone walls and pillars, exposed wooden beams, and sociable open-plan living. Towel off sandy paws then pad along the hallway to the lounge/kitchen/diner. The resident chef can potter in the wooden kitchen with a glass of wine as they prepare a hearty supper for the pack. Flick through your doggy action shots from the day or plan out the perfect Somerset itinerary at the wooden dining table before tucking into a celebratory family feast. As the night draws in, scope out the comfiest corner for a plush dog bed then rest up in the two well-presented bedrooms consisting of an en-suite king-size and a sunny twin. After dewy morning walkies, sip a coffee in the courtyard and soak in the scenic countryside views.

Amble along the quaint high street of Dulverton, 3 miles, peppered with a selection of local bakeries, independent shops, and friendly pubs welcoming four-pawed patrons with open arms and a treat or two. Probably the best holiday cottage we've stayed in. Warm, comfortable, quiet & peaceful, well equipped and with lovely views. Loved seeing the deer from the approach road on the way to the cottage!

Lovely Cottage in a good position for exploring the area. Enclosed courtyard for dogs with a larger communal garden for playing ball. Only downside there are no walks on the doorstep you need to travel by car to reach them. Dulverton just up the road has a good selection of independent shops and eateries. Would recommend the Bridge Inn for food.
