This charming end-of-terrace house is less than 500m from Aberdyfi’s long, sandy beach and is a great base for walking, water sports and golf. With two separate lounges in which to relax, it has space for groups of friends or multi-generational families, plus up to three hounds.
Bay windows at the front of this airy period townhouse maximise the light and its magnificent views over the water. After four steps up to the front door, you’ll find a pretty lounge with comfortable sofas, a TV and DVD and shelves full of books, leading through to a dining room seating eight. The kitchen is relatively small but fully equipped, and there’s even an extra fridge in a cupboard under the stairs. On the first floor you’ll find a twin bedroom and the second lounge, again with a TV, a DVD and wonderful views - a wonderful place to snuggle up and enjoy a sociable evening with your pups by your feet. The second floor is home to another twin bedroom, a double bedroom and the family bathroom, which has both a bath and a separate shower. On the very top floor, up some cottage-style stairs, is a double bedroom with an en-suite WC - set under sloping ceilings and with low beams and a raised beam on the floor.
Located in the seaside village of Aberdyfi in the Snowdonia National Park, the cottage sits opposite a small beach and the Dyfi Estuary. The village’s main beach is dog friendly and popular for sailing and water sports, and the local golf club is less than 0.5 miles away. Walkers will enjoy stretching their legs along the Wales Coast Path or, if you prefer to head inland, there is a lovely circular walking trail around Dolgoch Falls, 10 miles.
