We found the cottage to be in an excellent location for both of us and our reactive German Shepherd, to explore Wiltshire. There are horses and sheep on site, but contained within a post and wire netting fence. The animals weren't phased by our dog barking at them and he eventually ignored them. There is a small industrial estate to the rear of theRead more cottage and our dog did bark at the occasional workers he saw there. Overall, the cottage was clean and cosy with a real sense of being in the middle of nowhere, but having a range of facilities in nearby, Melksham. We did find plenty of walks along the canal and footpaths leading from it just a short walk from the cottage. We'll worth a stay at this cottage, especially as a dog owner, Hide
