Lovely cottage, well appointed and brilliant views. Beds really comfy and great pillows - very important to us. Hill too steep for me but hubby and dog managed it twice a day and I took the car down. Great beach walks and the steam train is a must. Good eateries especially Lola Blu tapas. Folks were all lovely too. Highly recommended.

Wow, this really is a home from home. Was a last minute booking over Xmas and New Year & we can honestly say it was an amazing two weeks. The location is perfect as a base to get out & about, equally as perfect just to stay in, curl up with a book & enjoy the amazing views from the lounge. We unfortunately got snowed-in on the final morning (after Read moretwo weeks of sunshine!) - many thanks to the owners for offering us an additional night but we managed to get off the hill. Will definitely be back! Hide

During our stay the weather turned cooler. Despite repeated efforts we were unable the increase the room stat (located in the lounge area). This forced us to call the property manager, who with the assistance of the owner on the telephone was also unable to increase the thermostat temperature. The property manager did however supply an electric radRead moreiator which helped. I would recommend that the owner and manager familiarise themselves with how to adjust the thermostat both locally and remote. Hide

Had a very enjoyable week. The inside of the property appears better than the photos show. Views from the property are exceptional. Took binoculars could watch water sports from the comfort of the balcony/French doors. We found Aberdyfi a pleasant place. Quaint shops nice pubs. Train journey to Barmouth worth a visit.

Cottage was in a great location, very well equipped and with fabulous views across the estuary. There was plenty of space for a couple with a little dog.
