For couples seeking quality time with their canine companion, this wonderful lodge is sure to impress. It's located on the fringes of the Brecon Beacons National Park, nestled among the trees on the beautiful border of England and Wales. Two guests and one four-pawed pal are invited to explore the fabulous countryside that surrounds the abode, enjoying long-distance walkies routes and endless games of fetch along single-track country roads and tree-lined footpaths.
In a truly rural setting, this cabin is situated on a working farm, surrounded by 300 acres of beautiful woodland that you and your pup are welcome to explore. Make your way into the open-plan lodge, a space with French doors on one side creating an easy indoor-outdoor living setup. As the decked area outside the property is enclosed, this space is secure for Rover to roam in and out. The lounge and dining areas are set by the patio doors, and there's a bijou, well-equipped kitchen tucked away in the corner too. As you settle down for the night, make use of the two-person sofa bed or the double bed, while Fido curls up in their bed with their favourite blanket. A shower room completes the interior, and outside you'll find a fire pit and a private parking space.
Leave no stick 'unfetched' among South Wales' marvellous Black Mountains. Let Rover lead the way as you explore Hay Bluff (3.5 miles), a mountain directly linked to the property via a footpath. Follow the long-distance Offa's Dyke Path down towards Llanthony, admiring the ancient ruins of Llanthony Priory (10.5 miles), or head up to Hay-on-Wye (4 miles), a beloved Welsh town with plenty of bookshops to keep humans entertained and a pub or two that'll welcome your furry friend for some refreshments.
