Nice location just outside the city. Initially looks very small from the outside when you drive up but was spacious enough for 4 adults to stay comfortably. Owners stay on site, so very handy if you did have any issues. Came and greeted us as we arrived

This cottage made our Christmas the best weve ever had, everything you could think of was available and the owner was very kind. The comfort of being away from home made us realise that we will always do cottages. I would fully recommend this beautiful cottage also youve got all the shops 5-10 mins away by transport. We WILL be back soon !!!

Modern cottage with light, bright interior & nicely furnished, with added bonus of great hot tub set in nice grounds. Owner friendly & helpful. Easy access from A1 & to Newcastle. However, lack of attention to detail - some dirty cutlery & dirty tea towel provided, & dirty socks found in pockets of hot tub robes. Also, cottage not as secluded as itRead more appears from photos, as railway goods yard right behind steep grassy bank which is very active & noisy overnight which affected our sleep. Hide

Was a lovely cottage nice and clean. Had I have known before hand the cost of the hot tub on top of the price, I would have looked elsewhere The noise on a night and early hours sometimes from the trains was annoying

This cottage is beautifully kept with all the amenities one would expect, with the addition of the well look after hot tub. The cottage benefits from being located on private land so there are no disturbances from neighbours. The owners are very helpful and keen to make the stay very comfortable.

The cottage itself is lovely. It was spotless on arrival. The equipment in the cottage was good, the air fryer was a bonus. A dishwasher would have been nice, especially if staying for longer as only a limited amount of plates etc so had to keep rewashing.
