Enjoying enviable views of the countryside, which your canine companion will love just as much as you, this single-storey cottage is surrounded by nature, forest walks and pretty country villages steeped in history. This property offers a secluded getaway for up to four people and one four-legged friend to enjoy and is great for those who love walking or cycling. Inside the property is an inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offering plenty of space to relax and for Fido to stretch out. The kitchen is equipped with all you need for a self-catering break and has a well-placed skylight to brighten the room. There is space for four around the dining table and plenty of room for your four-legged friend to sit too. A door leads out to two comfortable bedrooms, one with views out to the garden. A contemporary bathroom completes the accommodation with a shower over the bath and WC. Outside, your hound has his own enclosed garden with incredible views, while you have an al fresco dining space.

If history is your thing, you’ll love the village of Blakeney which can be found just a mile away from the cottage. Here you’ll also find a dog-friendly pub for you and Fido to enjoy. For a truly beautiful sight, head 2.5 miles north of the cottage to Bradley Hill woodlands and tiptoe, or paw, through blankets of bluebells. A cozy cottage run by very friendly owners. Situated in Blakeney, one can go south and west to Forest of Dean in 10 mins or north along the Severn River through to Gloucester. The cottage is well equipped and certainly not lacking in comfort.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped and the owners were very helpful. It is right on the edge of the Forest of Dean and close to the River Severn for walking.

Cottage was clean when we arrived and the owners were very welcoming and helpful, making sure we had no problems during our stay. Had a lovely relaxing week with our 2 dogs, taking in the beautiful scenery that is the Forest of Dean. The cottage was just as viewed online. The owners live next door and were on-hand when we arrived to welcome us, and couldn't have been more accommodating. It's a lovely airing feeling property. We were there during a particularly hot week in early July and the owners very kindly provided us with an extra electric fan to help keep us cool.
