We had a great two week stay at the cottage, helped by two glorious weeks of sunshine, that allowed us to sit outside the cottage enjoying the view of the fields. The cottage is compact but accommodated the three of us well. Main bedroom is a good size. the main wet room is also a good size. The cottage is a 2 minute walk into town, which has a gooRead mored pub, village store and a fantastic cheese shop. There is also a cafe/store that serves a great breakfast. Owners were very friendly. Hide

Great little village with easy access to walks, shops for basics, two pubs. Cottage is comfortable and quiet. Nice rural feel with cows grazing just over the drystone wall. There is even a friendly farm cat called George. The views nearby are terrific, especially as you drive towards Monyash. Will definitely come again!

Very comfortable cottage, with helpful but unobtrusive hosts. Ideally situated for both the village centre (200 yards away), and walking trails literally on the doorstep. Enclosed garden perfect for dogs and a nice patio.
