The kitchen and dining area exude rustic charm, featuring quirky cupboards and a farmhouse range cooker. Here, you'll find everything you need to prepare a hearty breakfast before your day's adventures or a romantic meal for two in the evening. At night, head upstairs to the tranquil king-size bedroom for a restful night's sleep. At the end of the hall, you'll discover a double-size shower room which completes the internal layout. Outside, the front of the property offers a peaceful spot to savour your morning coffee while watching the world go by.

Would be better if the wifi coverage better served the kitchen and bedroom. It was definitely less strong than in the lounge, to the extent I couldn't work from the kitchen table as I had hoped to.

My partner & I stayed here for 2 weeks while we were preparing to move into our new home and we had the loveliest time. The cottage was so warm and cosy and had the perfect mix of charm while also being quite modern. We loved staying in the village - normally living in a more city environment, we really enjoyed how peaceful it was and it felt like Read morewe were on holiday. We had some lovely walks with our dog in the nearby countryside and found all the neighbours & locals to be super friendly! Hide

Very cosy, practical, well appointed and comfortable cottage with lots of character. Quiet and peaceful and well located in Rode close to Bath and Frome. We had an enjoyable stay at Townsend Cottage.

This is a lovely cottage, thoughtfully equipped and in a very pretty part of the world. Two lovely local pubs and the whole of the Cotswolds to explore. We loved it.

Lovely cottage, easy to park on street. We had dogs and missed being able to open the door to a back garden but other than that it was lovely, well equipped and comfortable.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Townsend Cottage. It was really comfortable and the cooking facilities were great. An extra touch was the welcoming fan we had in the living room which helped with the heatwave which was ongoing. Being in 60 seconds walk of the local pub made the location even more excellent. Lovely cottage in a nice location and not too far away from Bath which is where we wanted to visit. Received a lovely little welcome gift when we arrived. What a gorgeous cottage...we absolutely loved our stay! The cottage is well equipped and comfortable, with every need taken care of. A very comfy bed, great shower, dishwasher, washing machine, comfy sofas, television etc. There were also lovely welcoming touches of wine and biscuits! The location is perfect for touring around. We visited Bradford Read moreon Avon, Frome, Bath, National Trust locations Avebury, Lacock and Stourhead as well as heading to the coast for the day! Thank you very much! Hide

Loved this place from the moment we walked through the front door. Equipped with everything you need. The bed was comfortable, nice big bathroom. Very quiet village, two lovely pubs within walking distance that serve good food. Lovely dog walks. Welcome goodies were very much appreciated. Wed love to visit again now we know the area better.
